An Evening of Mindfulness & Intention: Inside The Atlanta Creator Check-In
Creators across Atlanta gathered in style at Buckhead Art & Company for the Atlanta Creator Check-In, a special evening where wellness met work ethic and conversations were authentically profound. Hosted by Creator Tea Talk, Creators for Mental Health (C4MH), and Influential, the event drew a thoughtful crowd of influencers, marketers, and mental health supporters who know that longevity in this industry is more than just algorithms.
The night began the way all the best soirées do: softly. Guests mingled over mocktails courtesy of PROXY Wellness, and then slowly eased into conversation before settling into a guided meditation led by Ebonee Davis, writer, healer, and visual storyteller. Her grounding session was a 10-minute exhale for the room, giving a rare pause in a profession that rewards constant motion and progression.
Then came the main event: a panel discussion on mental health, meaning, and momentum in the creator economy. Moderated by Nefatari Cooper, Creator VIP relations at Influential, the panel featured Jayde I. Powell, host and creator of Creator Tea Talk; Shira Lazar, founder of Creators for Mental Health; Roxanne Kaiser, founder & CEO of PROXY Wellness; Shaine Griffin of SAG-AFTRA; and Ebonee Davis.
Between thoughtful and vulnerable confessions, the discussion wove through the tightrope walk of being both brand and being. Topics of balance and boundary-setting surfaced again and again, proving that even those at the forefront of culture are still learning how to protect their peace.
As the night slowly faded, guests lingered to network with ease rather than with an agenda. You could feel genuine connections flowing, and thoughtfully curated goodie bags that gave guests a gentle reminder that self-care is the best care.
When the night came to a close, one thing became clear— wellness isn’t a luxury in the creator economy, but should be the foundation. And judging by the smiles and exhaled shoulders as guests trickled out into the night, Atlanta’s creators are more than ready to lead with both purpose and presence.
